The Lonely Planet ranked Prague on the eighth place between 10 best cities in the list for 2024 among the best tourist destinations. In addition to the most famous monuments, the guide also mentioned other places such as Smetana Hall in the Municipal House, Strahov Library, National Memorial in Žižkov and the Jewish Museum in Prague. Among the activities that visitors to Prague should not miss, the guide included a view of the Old Town Astronomical Clock, a visit to Náplavka, Riegrovy sady, Divoká Šárka, and a walk through Zlatá ulička and Letná. The first place in the ranking took the Kenyan capital Nairobi.
