The latest report of the Czech Statistical Office, who collects data from collective accommodation establishments, has shown that Prague congress tourism experienced a noticeable decline last year.

While in recent years the number of events organized not only in Prague was increasing, the statistical data for 2013 demonstrate a crucial break point.

This unfortunate reality in the field of Prague meeting industry is also confirmed by the statistics of Prague Convention Bureau (PCB) who collects data from its members. According to PCB's statistics, there were 1,837 events held in Prague last year, which means a decrease by 179 events (8.9%) compared to 2012.
