One of the most visited travel websites, TripAdvisor.com, ranked Prague the fifth best travel destination in the world. It is preceded only by Istanbul, Rome, London and Peking.
Prague scored high thanks to the recognition of independent tourists who evaluated individual destinations on the website. The portal gets visited by about 260 million users per month who contribute about 150 million evaluations.
Last year, Prague came ninth. This year it managed to pass even Paris, which came first last year. Travellers praise highly not only Prague Castle but also the delights of Czech pubs as well as a great choice of cultural entertainment.
