Prague Information Service - Prague City Tourism has launched a VIP TOUR GUIDE CLUB with the aim of emphasising the professionalism of the selected tour guides and thereby improving the quality of tourism services in the city. With this step the organisation hopes to highlight the expertise and experience of the club's members, thereby distinguishing them from unqualified Prague guides. At present the VIP Tour Guide Club has seventy members that meet the general, professional and language requirements. Each VIP guide has received a certificate, a brochure with practical information for the 2014 season and a stylish club umbrella to make them easily identifiable on the ground.
