The City of Prague declares, on the basis of the Prague City Council resolution No. 1839, dated 2 September 2019

 

A PROGRAMME FOR THE PROMOTION IN THE FIELD OF TOURISM FOR THE YEAR 2020

 

The programme grants are to promote

  • The association convention industry (Measure I)

         for the realization of conventions in the City of Prague from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020

         It is possible to apply for a grant in 2 categories:

         I.A.         For conventions with 700 or more registered participants who are staying in Prague for at least

                       2 nights and at least 60% of whom are from abroad.

         I.B.         For conventions with 500 – 699 registered participants who are staying in Prague for at least

                       2 nights and at least 20% of whom are from abroad.

  • Events with trans-regional and international significance (Measure II)

         for the realisation of events outside of the historic centre of the City of Prague or outside of the main

         tourist season from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020

 

Applications can be submitted from 8 October to 7 November 2019
