Prague held on to 5th spot in the rankings of the most beloved tourist destinations in the world. The results of the Travellers' Choice poll, in which millions of respondents took part, were published on the TripAdvisor portal under the title "The Very Best of Travel". This portal's selections have long numbered among the most closely watched in the tourist industry.
Prague improved significantly in 2014, moving up four spots, and not only did it hold onto its spot this year, but it also outranked all other European destinations.
The order of the top ten cities for 2015: Marrakech, Siem Reap (Cambodia), Istanbul, Hanoi, Prague, London, Rome, Buenos Aires, Paris, Cape Town.

According to a statement by Prague City Tourism, Prague is enjoying success with Russian tourists as well. At the MITT tourism trade fair in Moscow, the results of a similar poll "Star of Travel.ru" were announced, and Prague received the prize for best weekend destination for 2015.
